We turned our classroom into the streets of Hoon Hay! We had constable Annabel and scooter kids, Stephanie and Megan.
We talked about:
- Carefully walking/scootering on footpaths and to look out for 'sneaky' driveways.
- Where to walk in car parks.
- Where to cross the road safely.
- The importance of wearing a seat belt.
- Safety equipment to wear when riding our bikes and scooters on the road/foot path.
Have a conversation with your child about some of the important things they took away from our Road Safety lessons.
During Sign Language week we performed some role plays in pairs to practise asking each other in sign language if a buddy would like to play rugby, basketball, tennis or soccer. Can you figure out what we are signing below?
